Áurea Sandra Toledo Sousa is an Assistant Professor from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of the Azores and a researcher of the Centre of Applied Economics Studies of the Atlantic (CEEAplA). She holds a Ph.D. in Probability and Statistics by the University of the Azores, a master’s degree in Statistics and Management of Information by the ISEGI of the New University of Lisbon, and a graduation in Mathematics by the University of the Azores. Her primary research interests are in the areas of Multivariate Data Analysis, Probability and Statistics, Symbolic Data Analysis (SDA), and Computational Statistics. In these areas, she has participated in national and international conferences and projects and has published several articles.
